Every year, American Made Matters Day takes place on November 19*. On this day, AMM asks consumers to buy at least ONE American made product. This event raises awareness and encourages Americans to buy more products made in the U.S.A. We invite companies and individuals to become AMM Day ambassadors and coordinate an American Made Matters Day event.

American Made Matters Ambassadors

Our objective is to create a network of passionate members of our movement to help achieve our mission of educating consumers on the importance of buying U.S. made products to create jobs, stronger communities, safer products, a cleaner environment, an independent and secure Nation and ultimately strengthening the American dream.

How do I coordinate an American Made Matters Day event? 

  1. Start by securing a location, such as a factory, school, library, retirement community, town hall, house of worship, etc.
  2. Distribute a press release (that will be provided to you by AMM) to local newspapers, TV, radio, bloggers before November 19th.
  3. Conduct an event that can include showing the AMM-provided PowerPoint and videos, raffling of AMM gear, distributing AMM facts and coupons, factory tours, etc.
  4. Take photos and videos! Share with the hashtag #americanmademattersday and submit to us at contact@americanmadematters.com for lots of sharing on social media.

*Note: November 19, 2017 falls on a Sunday. If you are coordinating an event and your business or factory is not open on Sundays, please feel free to have your event on Friday, November 17, 2017 or Saturday, November 18, 2017.
